The
following are testimonial letters from one of our many satisfied customers. November, 2005
Greetings Soul
Men!
Thanks so much for rockin' the house at The Rock and Roll Auction 2 for The Drive!
The Soul Men
really delivered a solid, entertaining show! Their portrayal of The Blues Brothers was "As Righteous As A Fist!" Right down to their knuckles...(Jake, Elwo...od!)
From that fabulous entrance...(WOW, that was sooo f'in COOL!)
to the way that they worked in local references, and the Sponsors- the thanking Miller Beer into "Hey Bartender"
(are you kidding me? They LOST THEIR MINDS!!!) to the dance steps and acrobatic tricks. I mean, they went toe-to-toe
with Brett Michaels AND Styx...even without a live band supporting them! Then to go on to the VIP area and schmooze with our
special guests was above and beyond our expectations!
Concert goers could be overheard after the event still talking
about The Soul Men!
I have been a Blues Brothers fan since I was 12. I never had a chance to see them live. I can
honestly tell anyone, that I really felt like while they were up there, The Soul Men WERE the Blues Brothers. I had goose
bumps, Man.
I'm So Glad We Made It... Your New Friend and Fan In Detroit,

Dear “Elwood” and “Jake” Soul,
I would like to thank you on behalf of ACE USA Insurance for your
wonderful appearance at our recent broker appreciation at the House of Blues in Cleveland. Not only was
your performance on point with the Blues Brothers, in song and dance, but you were so gracious to meet and greet with us and
our guests.Hosting the event at the House of Blues would have been
incomplete without the two of you being there. You really captured the heart and foundation of the House of Blues.
Outside of the Voodoo Shrimp served at our event, you were
the talk of the office…all the way to Chicago! The best part
of your performance had to be interacting with the audience. You danced with us and had us singing with
you…we felt like part of the band! We
had a great time! Thank you again
for making our event truly memorable. ACE USA Cleveland, Ohio --------------------------------------------------------------------- Here's what "Blues News" had to say
about 33rd Street Band and The Soul Men in one of their 2006 issues: Kalamazoo
Blues Festival July 6-8 2006: Another
horn driven band is the 33rd Street Band. Lead by
trombonist Mark Patrie, the 33rd Street Band had a
secret weapon for today's show. The Soul Men are a Cleveland
based Blues Brothers tribute act who won the crowd with their antics. Backed by the extremely tight band, The
Soul Men brought back all the great songs by Jake and Elwood Blues such as Hey Bartender, Minnie the Moocher, Soul
Man and of course, Rubber Biscuit. From the black suits to the knuckle tattoos, these guys were great.
Leading the crowd in song and dance, the 33rd Street
Band and The Soul Men were a fun-filled treat.
